Smyrna Police Seek Gunman in Apartment Shooting

Last week, an alarming incident occurred at the Alcove Apartments on Woodlands Drive in Smyrna, where an individual fired an assault rifle through an apartment door. Fortunately, no one inside the targeted unit sustained injuries during the barrage of shots.

Smyrna police have released a photograph of the suspect, obtained from a neighbor's Ring doorbell camera, as they seek the public's help in identifying him. While some neighbors believe the individual may be familiar, his residence or connection to the apartment complex is not confirmed.

The victim of the shooting stated they did not recognize the shooter, and investigators have yet to determine the motive for the attack. Residents in the vicinity reported hearing the distinct sounds of gunfire, which caused considerable alarm throughout the complex.
