Summary

- Bling Ring member Nicholas Prugo involved in DaLuise's legal troubles.
- DaLuise was found not guilty of all charges by a jury.

Esthetician Dawn DaLuise, known for her celebrity clientele, initially suspected business competitor Gabriel Suarez of orchestrating a harassment campaign against her in Los Angeles around July 2013. The harassment included slashed tires, defaced property, and explicit flyers. DaLuise reported these incidents to the police multiple times. However, an investigation by Detective Steve McCauley shifted focus, leading to DaLuise's arrest on March 5, 2014. She was charged with soliciting the murder of Suarez, with accusations that she sought to have him harmed through former NFL player Chris Geile and allegedly asked witnesses to lie.
In a twist, evidence emerged implicating Bling Ring member Nicholas Prugo and DaLuise's friend Edward Feinstein. They were arrested and charged with stalking DaLuise and soliciting a man to rape her. Feinstein and Prugo eventually pleaded no contest to stalking and had the solicitation charge dismissed. They received probation and were ordered to stay away from DaLuise and her daughters. Despite the accusations and her time in jail awaiting trial, a California jury found DaLuise not guilty of all charges in January 2015.
