Rising Latin music artist Maria De La Rosa, performing under the name DELAROSA, was tragically killed after being shot inside a parked car in Los Angeles.
The incident occurred early Saturday morning in Northridge, San Fernando Valley. Witnesses described two male suspects, identified as Hispanic males in their late teens wearing gray hoodies, approaching the parked car and discharging a firearm. Maria was seated in the passenger seat and sustained a gunshot wound to the abdomen. Tragically, she was pronounced dead at Northridge Hospital Medical Center.
The other two individuals in the car were unharmed. DELAROSA, aged 22, was an emerging talent known for her recently released song "No Me Llames." Her family has expressed confidence in the Los Angeles Police Department's ability to apprehend the suspects, citing the availability of significant video evidence, including from Ring cameras, which is crucial for the ongoing investigation.
