- Investigators are examining a webcam from a rifle for crucial evidence.

Three men, all identified as wild boar hunters with no criminal records, were discovered dead in a forest within Sicily's Nebrodi Mountains. The incident is being investigated as a tragic case of mistaken identity. The hunters were in the mist-shrouded woods near Montagnareale when one of them, Antonio Gatani, reportedly fired his weapon, believing he had spotted an animal.
This action resulted in the death of Giuseppe Pino and wounded his brother, Devis Pino. In the ensuing chaos, Devis is believed to have shot and killed Gatani. A fourth hunter, who was a close friend of Gatani, is reported to have then shot the wounded Devis before fleeing the scene. This fourth hunter has since been arrested and interviewed by police.
Investigators are meticulously examining the hunters' weapons and the trajectories of the bullets fired. A key piece of evidence may be a webcam attached to Devis Pino's rifle, which might have recorded the fatal sequence of events. The prosecutor's office hopes the arrested hunter will cooperate to provide a full reconstruction of the tragedy.
