- The initiative expands to Stamford, Bourne, and Market Deeping town centres.
- South Kesteven District Council funds the scheme with £25,000.

Shopkeepers in Stamford, Bourne, and Market Deeping town centres are now being offered radios to deter shoplifters as part of an expanded Shopwatch scheme. This initiative aims to foster greater collaboration among local businesses.
Businesses participating in the scheme will receive radios to enable immediate communication. This will allow them to quickly share information and issue warnings about any suspicious activity observed in their vicinity.
Councillor Paul Stokes highlighted the practical benefits, stating that retailers can now work together by swiftly passing on intelligence. The South Kesteven District Council is providing £25,000 from the UK Shared Prosperity Fund to facilitate this expansion.
The radios will connect to the council's 24/7 CCTV control room and can also link directly with Lincolnshire Police. Membership in the Lincolnshire Chamber of Commerce Shopwatch scheme is required to benefit from this radio offer.
