Shropshire Man Faces Rape, Assault Charges

A man from Shifnal, Shropshire, has been formally charged with a series of severe offenses, including rape and sexual assault. The 27-year-old, identified as Henry Stokes of Poplar Street, appeared before Kidderminster Magistrates Court earlier.
His charges encompass two counts of rape, one count of sexual assault, and one charge of actual bodily harm. Authorities also accuse Stokes of voyeurism and coercive and controlling behaviour, according to West Mercia Police.
Following his court appearance, Stokes was remanded in custody. He is scheduled to next appear at Shrewsbury Crown Court on February 16th.
