However, investors contend these pitches were false. A detailed report indicated Gomez had distanced herself from Wondermind early on, citing severe financial issues. The report also detailed alleged substance abuse problems and erratic behavior by Teefey, contributing to the company's downturn. Pierson reportedly left Wondermind following a dispute.
