The men were apprehended due to significant evidence from CCTV and doorbell cameras. Footage captured incriminating moments, including one of the attackers' footwear igniting as he fled a blaze. The court heard that petrol bombs were thrown, and vehicles were set alight, causing extensive damage.
Judge Lord Mulholland described the actions as "sheer naked gangsterism" during the High Court hearing in Glasgow. The three men, who were remanded in custody, will be sentenced in May. Their involvement was part of "Operation Portaledge," a police investigation into escalating gang violence in the region.
