On Saturday, October 24th, 2025, a gruesome murder took place in Alinagar Kala village of Bahraich district, Uttar Pradesh. 35-year-old Zakir Ali was found dead with his throat slit under a tin shed outside his house.
Investigations revealed that Zakir's wife, 32-year-old Haseena, had been in a relationship with 24-year-old Abdul Salam, a resident of the same village, for the past two years. Zakir had strongly opposed this affair, leading to frequent quarrels in the household.
On the night of October 25th, 2025, Haseena allegedly invited her lover to her home after ensuring her husband and six children were asleep. She then strangled Zakir with a dupatta while he was sleeping. Haseena and Abdul Salam then carried the body outside and used a knife to slit Zakir's throat in an attempt to mislead the investigators.
