Schoolboy Assaulted by Seniors with Sharp Weapon in Lucknow

On November 7th, 2025, a 16-year-old student in Lucknow was the victim of a vicious attack by six of his senior classmates. The incident occurred around 3 pm as the boy was returning home from school, traveling by auto-rickshaw with a friend.

A group of six Class 12 students from the same school intercepted the vehicle and pulled the 16-year-old out, before assaulting him with a sharp-edged weapon. The attack left the boy with serious facial injuries, and he was immediately taken to the Syama Prasad Mukherjee Civil Hospital for treatment, where he received stitches.

According to the written complaint filed by the boy's father, who is a resident of Charbagh, the motive behind the attack is still under investigation. The Hazratganj police have registered an FIR under relevant sections for assault and causing grievous hurt, and they have identified the accused students. Statements from the victim, his classmates, and school authorities are being recorded, and appropriate legal action will follow after the evidence is verified.
