A sales director, Tony Rogers, aged 58, has been terminated from his position following a violent incident outside a Melbourne strip club.
Rogers and a German colleague were allegedly ejected from Bar 20 on January 30 for offensive behavior towards staff and dancers. CCTV footage captured Rogers grabbing a chair from a neighboring restaurant and throwing it.
The chair inadvertently struck his colleague, leaving him unconscious. The company, Vereinigte Spezialmöbelfabriken, confirmed one employee is no longer with the organization after an internal investigation deemed the conduct unacceptable.
Victoria Police are continuing their inquiries into the event, and Rogers is expected to face a riotous behavior fine. He has since removed his professional online presence.
