Summary
- Three men arrested in alleged human trafficking operation.
- Women reportedly trafficked from New York for exploitation.
- Police chief vows to fight victim exploitation in Salem.

Three men were arrested and pleaded not guilty at arraignments held recently in Salem District Court. They face charges related to an alleged human trafficking operation that authorities say involved bringing women from Flushing, N.Y., to work at local businesses.
The businesses, New Custom Body Work and Red Rose Reflexology, advertised spa services but were reportedly involved in sex-related activities. Undercover officers reported being offered sexual acts during massages at both establishments. Investigations revealed that females working at these businesses were often changed out monthly and were not allowed to leave without escort.
Police Chief Lucas Miller described the operation as both a criminal investigation and a rescue, vowing that the exploitation of human trafficking victims would not be tolerated. One suspect, St. Onge, owner of Red Rose Reflexology, reportedly had prior knowledge of similar operations involving women living at massage parlors and keeping only a small portion of earnings.
During searches, authorities seized nearly $6,400 in cash. Bail was set for the accused men, with amounts of $35,000 and $40,000 ordered by the court.
