Drug Bust: Couple Arrested in Rodanthe Traffic Stop

In Rodanthe, a routine traffic stop on December 11 led to the arrest of two individuals on serious felony drug charges. Deputies from the Dare County Sheriff's Office initiated the stop, and a subsequent K9 alert prompted a search of the vehicle.
The search yielded a significant discovery: methamphetamine, cocaine, various controlled substances, and drug paraphernalia were found and seized by law enforcement. This evidence formed the basis for the charges against the occupants.
Matthew C. Farrow, 46, and Brittany H. Farrow, 41, were taken into custody and charged with numerous felonies, including PWIMSD Methamphetamine and Possession of Cocaine. Each has been released on a $20,000 secured bond. The Sheriff's Office continues to seek information regarding criminal activity.
