Summary

- Body placed on railway track to stage a death by accident.
- Three men arrested for premeditated murder and disposal of body.

A gruesome murder occurred in Panipat after a Holi celebration dispute. The victim, Kalu, went missing on Holi and was later found on a railway track, initially presumed to be an accident victim. However, police investigation revealed a meticulously planned murder orchestrated by three men from Kalu's village: Sanju, Rahul, and Vishal.
The primary motive stemmed from Kalu allegedly applying Holi color to Sanju's female friend, infuriating Sanju. An older dispute regarding a damaged motorcycle, for which Kalu never compensated Sanju, also fueled the animosity. Sanju is considered the mastermind.
The accused lured Kalu into a drinking session, forcing him to consume excessive alcohol. Once intoxicated, they took him to a railway track and attacked him with a screwdriver. When the attack proved non-fatal, they laid the injured and intoxicated Kalu alive on the tracks before a train ran him over.
Technical evidence, including mobile phone location data, led police to Sanju and his associates. Confronted with this evidence, the three men confessed to the entire sequence of events, leading to their arrest. Further investigation is ongoing.
