16 Dec
Summary
- Nick Reiner booked a hotel room early Sunday morning.
- Staff found the shower and bed covered in blood.
- He was arrested hours after an argument at a party.

Nick Reiner, the son of Rob and Michele Reiner, has been arrested following the discovery of a significant amount of blood in his hotel room. Reiner checked into The Pierside Santa Monica early Sunday morning, reportedly using his credit card. This occurred mere hours after he allegedly had a heated exchange at a Christmas party.
Upon entering Reiner's room later that day, hotel staff were shocked to find the shower area and the bed covered in blood. The window of the room had been obscured with bed sheets. Detectives from the LAPD Robbery-Homicide division were dispatched to the scene to collect evidence and interview hotel personnel.
Nick Reiner was eventually located and taken into custody around 20 miles from the hotel, in Exposition Park. Authorities have been aware of Reiner's ongoing struggles with substance abuse for years, with efforts to help him proving largely unsuccessful.
