A 30-year-old woman has come forward, stating she was sexually assaulted by a male nurse. Authorities confirmed that DNA evidence recovered from the victim directly linked the suspect to the alleged crime.
Following the investigation, Olufemi I. Olaifa, a 40-year-old Schaumburg resident, has been charged with criminal sexual assault in connection with the incident. Olaifa is scheduled to appear in court in Rolling Meadows on Wednesday.
Alden Estates of Barrington has reportedly cooperated fully with the Barrington police department throughout their investigation into this matter.
