Chicago rapper MAF Teeski, whose legal name is Terrance D Banks, was apprehended in Indiana on Monday. He faces multiple charges stemming from an alleged domestic altercation, including domestic battery resulting in moderate bodily injury and battery in the presence of a child under 16. Authorities were alerted by an incomplete 911 call reporting a physical dispute at a residence.
Upon arrival, police found the alleged victim and her teenage son outside the home, while Banks was reportedly barricaded inside. After officers made repeated verbal commands, Banks exited and was taken into custody. The victim's son provided a statement to police alleging he witnessed Banks assaulting his mother. Visible injuries were observed on the victim, and Ring doorbell footage reportedly showed Banks striking the woman and discarding her phone.
Banks was booked into the Hamilton County Jail and later released on a $10,000 bond. The State of Indiana has requested a no-contact order to prevent Banks from contacting the victim or her child. He is expected to appear in court in January. As of the report, Banks has not been convicted, and all allegations are under legal review.
