Investigators are exploring the connection to Prince Khan, who is believed to be operating internationally and is wanted in multiple criminal cases, with a Red Corner Notice issued against him. He is suspected of being in Dubai or nearby countries, directing criminal activities. The hotel operator had reportedly received the extortion call on December 25, and his security cover, provided after the complaint, was withdrawn shortly before the shooting.
This incident highlights the reach of organized crime, with authorities investigating the motive which may also include a recent land dispute settlement that might have drawn the gangster's attention. Police are analyzing CCTV footage and gathering evidence to apprehend those responsible.
