Analysis of his phone revealed the grooming attempts directed at a woman in Manila. The Australian Federal Police subsequently arrested him at a residence in Blackwater, west of Rockhampton.
He now faces multiple charges, including grooming a person to facilitate sexual activity with a child overseas and soliciting child abuse material. Each offense carries a potential maximum penalty of 15 years imprisonment, highlighting the seriousness of the alleged crimes.
