A 17-year-old boy was tragically killed Friday afternoon in Woodhaven, Queens, succumbing to a stab wound to the neck after being attacked near Jamaica Avenue and 76th Street. Josue Argudo was returning home from school when he was assaulted by a group of teenagers.
Witnesses and recovered surveillance footage indicate that the masked assailants pursued Argudo before one of them inflicted the fatal stab. The suspects, described as wearing masks and hoods, fled the scene. Emergency medical services transported Argudo to Jamaica Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Authorities have released images of two individuals they believe can assist in the investigation, noting a recent rise in youth violence across the city.
