A one-year-old child has been safely recovered by the Pune city police following a kidnapping incident at the railway station. The child's parents, who earn a living by begging, were asleep when the abduction occurred on Saturday evening. Police immediately registered a case and initiated a wide-ranging investigation.
Utilizing footage from over 65 CCTV cameras, officers identified a man and a woman carrying the child. The suspects were tracked boarding a train towards Nanded. Alerting law enforcement agencies along the route, police teams were dispatched to several locations.
The suspects and the child were eventually located and apprehended near Daund railway station. The three individuals have been taken into custody for further questioning to determine their motive. The rescued child is safe and unharmed.
