The incident began when villagers reported the accused for harassing them. Two constables responded, but the man attacked them, pelting stones and damaging their vehicle. He then confronted a responding officer, attempting to strangle him and biting him when the officer tried to secure his vehicle.
Charged under multiple sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, including attempted murder, the accused is being sought by police. He has a history of five prior offenses, including body and property crimes.
