Powder Springs Double Homicide: Son Charged

A tragic shooting incident unfolded at a Powder Springs home this past Saturday, claiming the lives of two elderly residents. The Powder Springs Police Department responded to a call at a Yoshino Terrace residence, where they discovered the victims, identified as 72-year-old Monica Brookins and her 73-year-old husband, John Wells. Authorities have since detained Martin Duberry, 31, in connection with the double homicide.
