The first shooting on May 29 involved a 55-year-old man who survived critical injuries. Subsequent shootings on June 20 and June 26 claimed the lives of a 45-year-old and a 29-year-old victim, respectively. All incidents took place between 10 p.m. and 11 p.m.
Investigators have released surveillance images showing the suspect with distinctive clothing and tattoos on his wrists. Police noted that all three crimes share similar characteristics and occurred in the same vicinity, leading them to believe they are connected. The motive is believed to be robbery, as indicated by a witness in the first case. Melchur was reportedly seen riding a SEPTA Broad Street Line train.
