The ongoing probe involves over 100 FBI agents and analysts who are reviewing more than one million pieces of video and photographic evidence, a massive undertaking that began after Eugene Horsch's arrest in June.
Investigators have uncovered deeply disturbing evidence within the home, suggesting the deaths of at least two missing women, Maribel Fresses and Gabrielle Amarando. The complexity of the investigation is heightened by the fact that the women's bodies have not been recovered, preventing official death certifications. The home is also the last known location of Amy McHale, who disappeared in 2016.
Eugene Horsch has been detained since his June arrest, which followed a traffic stop where a woman in his vehicle was found with a fraudulent ID matching another missing person's name. Police discovered illegal firearms, a fake DEA badge, significant quantities of illegal drugs, and a marijuana grow operation at Horsch's residence. Additionally, more than 20 containers of unknown substances were sent for analysis.
