In Bhopal, a man named Arbaz hurled a petrol bomb at a woman's house after she refused his marriage proposal. The incident occurred on Monday in the Banganga area.
Earlier that day, Arbaz visited the woman, threatening her life if she did not marry him. She declined, stating she was engaged. He then allegedly abused her and threatened her fiancé.
Later, Arbaz returned and vandalized her scooter. When the woman attempted to intervene, he threw a Molotov cocktail into her home, causing a fire that damaged kitchen appliances.
Neighbours quickly put out the fire. Arbaz, known to police with 38 prior criminal cases, had met the woman on Instagram. A case has been registered against him.
