Summary
- Debbie Perry requested maximum sentence for Jasveen Sangha.
- Matthew Perry died from acute effects of ketamine in October 2023.
- Five individuals were charged in connection with Perry's death.

Debbie Perry, stepmother of the late "Friends" star Matthew Perry, has called for the maximum prison sentence for Jasveen Sangha, implicated in the actor's death. Perry's stepmother submitted a victim impact statement to the court, describing the "irreversible" pain caused by Sangha, who is reportedly known as the "Ketamine Queen."
Matthew Perry passed away in October 2023 at his Pacific Palisades home due to the acute effects of ketamine. He had been open about his past struggles with addiction. Investigations into the source of the ketamine led to charges against five defendants in August 2024.
Among the five charged were Sangha, two doctors, and Perry's live-in assistant. While some defendants pleaded guilty shortly after their arrests, Sangha entered her guilty plea in September 2025 as part of a plea agreement with prosecutors. Debbie Perry implored the court to give Sangha the maximum sentence to prevent her from harming other families.
