A shocking violent attack left a mother in critical condition after she was shot multiple times in her south-east London home on Christmas Eve. The victim was found with severe gunshot wounds just before 11 pm and was rushed to hospital, where she spent Christmas Day in intensive care.
Tragically, her one-year-old son was present in the house during the assault. Police believe two men in hooded clothing approached the front door and discharged seven rounds before fleeing on foot towards Commercial Way.
Detective Inspector Jordan Gardner urged the public to share any information, emphasizing the importance of identifying the perpetrators and ensuring justice for the victim. Investigators are particularly interested in witnesses who were in the vicinity of Cronin Street, Commercial Way, or Moody Road between 9:45 pm and 11:45 pm on December 24th.
