Patna Authorities Implement Tight Security Measures for Election Results

On November 12, 2025, the Patna traffic police have announced strict vehicle restrictions on Boring Road to facilitate the smooth conduct of the vote counting process for all 14 assembly constituencies of Patna district. The measures, which will be in place from 5am on Friday until the counting concludes, aim to ensure the seamless operation of the process at A N College, where the EVMs and VVPATs have been stored under tight security.
According to the traffic plan, vehicles will not be allowed on certain sections of Boring Road, including the route from the Boring Road intersection towards A N College, Mohini Mor to Sahdeo Mahto Marg, and from Pani Tanki Mor on Boring Road towards the college. The movement of commercial vehicles will also be prohibited on the route from Rajapur Pul on Boring Road to Hartali Chowk and Boring Road crossing, as well as from Patliputra roundabout towards A N College and Pani Tanki.
The authorities have made special arrangements for the vehicles of counting agents and candidates. Agents will park their vehicles along Atal Path and come to the college on foot, while candidates' vehicles will be allowed only up to Tapasya Mor on Boring Road and Pani Tanki Mor, with the candidates then proceeding to the college on foot.
