Actress and entrepreneur Parul Gulati has reported an alleged fraud at her Nish Hair store located in Bengaluru. Two employees are accused of defrauding the business by diverting customer payments into their personal bank accounts over approximately six months.
The store manager has reportedly admitted to misappropriating around Rs 8 lakh. However, the sales executive involved in the alleged scam is currently absconding. Gulati shared her experience on social media, expressing distress over the incident.
Gulati discovered the discrepancies after an unannounced visit to the outlet. She stated that the accused employees instructed customers to transfer funds directly to their personal accounts instead of the official company account. This alleged scheme resulted in significant financial losses and missing inventory.
The actress has advised customers who transacted at the Bengaluru outlet to verify their payments, as they may also have been affected. She urged customers to always insist on bills and confirm payment details.
