Summary
- Two sub-inspectors and a woman fought over car parking outside a home.
- The house owner alleged the group was drinking in their car.
- A departmental inquiry is now underway against the involved officers.

A departmental inquiry has been initiated against two sub-inspectors attached to the Niwari police station. This action follows an incident on December 21 where the two officers and a woman, claiming to be a lawyer, allegedly caused a disturbance. The confrontation, which occurred outside a residence in Budana on Niwari Road, reportedly stemmed from a dispute over parked vehicles blocking the house's entry ramp.
The house owner, Abhishek Nehra, submitted a complaint supported by video evidence. He alleged that upon returning home, he found two cars parked in a manner that obstructed his gate. Nehra claimed the occupants, including the sub-inspectors and the woman, were drinking inside one of the vehicles. When he requested they move, the situation escalated with verbal altercations and alleged threats.
In response to the surfaced videos, police have launched a thorough investigation. While the woman presented a different account of events, accusing Nehra of harassment, the departmental inquiry will focus on the conduct of the sub-inspectors. Authorities have indicated that disciplinary action will be taken based on the inquiry's findings.
