He failed to disclose his criminal past on four separate occasions when registering with the Health and Care Professions Council.
The truth emerged last year when Osner applied to join the police force, triggering a vetting probe. He was found to have received a five-year suspended sentence for killing a pedestrian in 2016. Osner claimed he was unaware of the conviction and that legal advice led him to accept a plea deal.
However, the Health and Care Professions Tribunal Service deemed his explanation superficial and dishonest, stating his repeated concealment was a serious departure from professional standards. He has been banned from working as a paramedic for 12 months.
