A volatile argument over the family dogs' barking led to a deadly confrontation in East Hempfield Township, Pennsylvania. Bryan Adolph, 26, is facing charges of criminal homicide and aggravated assault following an incident on Monday. Authorities reported that Adolph became enraged when the dogs wouldn't stop barking, even harming one of the animals.
When his sister, Elyse Adolph, 28, confronted him about the disturbance, Bryan allegedly grabbed kitchen knives and stabbed her repeatedly. The attack also extended to his 24-year-old brother, who sustained multiple stab wounds but survived and was hospitalized. Bryan Adolph was arrested later the same day after fleeing the residence.
He remains in custody at Lancaster County Prison. Judge Brian Chudzik denied bail during his preliminary arraignment on Tuesday, July 21. Additional charges may be filed at his preliminary hearing, which is scheduled to take place on August 4.
