A horrific crime unfolded at a rural property in Forest Grove, Oregon, approximately 30 miles west of Portland. On Saturday, authorities discovered the bodies of five individuals, leading to a homicide investigation. The victims have been identified as Stella Jade Kimsey, 26, her mother Rowan Karla Kimsey, 60, and her grandmother Mary Elizabeth Kimsey, 85. Also found deceased were Stella Kimsey's best friend, Linsey Mae Haraldsen, 26, and Haraldsen's partner, Alvin Raymond Chu, 27.
The suspect, identified as 36-year-old Benjamin Charles Parker, was located deceased in his vehicle in Enumclaw, Washington, a distance of about 187 miles from the crime scene. Law enforcement officials suspect Parker took his own life. The property, owned by Rowan Kimsey, was also inhabited by her daughter Stella and Parker.
Authorities confirmed that two dogs and two cats were found dead at the residence. Another cat was transported to a veterinarian for injuries but was later euthanized. The exact cause of death for both the humans and the animals has not yet been specified. Sheriff Caprice Massey described the scene as exceptionally complex for investigators.
