A suspect wanted for a murder in Oregon was apprehended by police on Wednesday in Sedro-Woolley, Washington. The man is accused of killing 44-year-old Yuvonne Allison, who was found stabbed to death at a home near Eugene, Oregon. The victim's family indicated the two were in a relationship.
Approximately 350 miles from the Oregon crime scene, the suspect entered Cascade Pizza armed with a shotgun. He ordered food and used a borrowed phone to make multiple 911 calls, identifying himself and making nonsensical statements. He later called again, stating he was armed and intended to harm himself and others.
Law enforcement established a perimeter around the restaurant, and management secured the suspect in a back patio area while staff and customers evacuated. The suspect eventually climbed over a fence but was quickly surrounded and taken into custody by officers. Fortunately, no one was harmed during the incident. The suspect is being held in Skagit County jail, awaiting an extradition hearing.
