Deputies responding to a burglary in progress on Oct. 1 encountered Rayven Lee Wooten, 24, allegedly stealing copper wire. When confronted, Wooten made a dramatic escape by diving headfirst through a closed window. Although he initially fled on foot, Wooten inadvertently left his backpack behind. Inside, deputies discovered his driver's license, which provided the key information to locate and apprehend him. The Oklahoma County Sheriff's Office shared bodycam footage of the incident, humorously noting the suspect's stunt-like escape. Wooten has been charged with burglary, resisting arrest, and obstructing an officer.
