Summary
- Woman found guilty of attempted murder after New Year's Eve shooting.
- She fired eight shots, hitting one partygoer in the abdomen.
- The incident occurred after she learned her husband and boyfriend were present.

An Ohio woman, Olivia Clendenin, 29, has been convicted by a jury of attempted murder, two counts of felonious assault, and illegal discharge at or into a habitation. The convictions stem from a shooting incident on January 1, 2025, at a Clearcreek Township home. Prosecutors stated Clendenin discovered her husband and boyfriend were both attending the same New Year's Eve party.
Following an alleged argument and failed attempt to have her husband leave, Clendenin reportedly returned to the party with a handgun. She is accused of firing eight shots, one of which struck a 29-year-old male partygoer in the abdomen, causing serious injury. The victim had been an invited guest. Clendenin was also involved in a car crash following the shooting.
Warren County Prosecutor David Fornshell remarked that Clendenin, who began 2025 as a free person, will now face incarceration for at least a decade. The prosecutor highlighted that an innocent victim was almost killed during the event.
