Suspect leads police on wild chase ending on golf course

An attempted murder suspect led police on a dramatic chase across northeast Ohio earlier this week. FLOCK cameras initially alerted Stow, Ohio, police to the suspect's presence in the city. The Ohio State Highway Patrol located the individual in Hudson, Ohio, initiating a pursuit. During this chase, the suspect crashed a vehicle on State Route 91 and fired shots at a trooper before fleeing on foot.

The suspect then carjacked a minivan, leading authorities on a second chase back into Stow. This pursuit took an unusual turn when the suspect drove the stolen minivan onto the Fox Den golf course. The chase finally ended when the suspect collided with a Summit County Metro Parks cruiser, causing it to overturn. The suspect, after exiting the flipped vehicle, was quickly apprehended by authorities. The Ohio State Highway Patrol is currently investigating the incident.
