An Odessa resident has been arrested following a home burglary that took place in June. The incident began when a woman observed an individual force entry into a neighbor's home by pushing in a window air conditioner and climbing inside. She witnessed the suspect exit the residence, return wearing black gloves, and then leave with what appeared to be an air conditioner.
The resident confronted the suspect, who responded he would be right back but never returned. She managed to record the suspect and his vehicle using her cellphone. Authorities later stopped the suspect's vehicle for a traffic violation. Detectives positively identified Christopher Jim Dominguez as the man seen in the victim's video recording. He was subsequently released after posting a $20,000 surety bond.
