A festive theft has seen a 5ft singing Nutcracker statue taken from outside Luke Allum Funeral Directors in Sheerness, Kent. The Christmas decoration was reported stolen on Friday, prompting a police investigation.
Authorities apprehended two individuals in connection with the incident. Following the arrests, 39-year-old John Bain, of Invicta Road, Sheerness, has been formally charged.
Bain faces three counts of theft. Two of these charges are linked to separate incidents that occurred at a shop in Neats Court Retail Park on November 25 and December 1, indicating a pattern of alleged criminal activity.
