The ARCCI contends that the verdict and sentence fail to adequately address the prolonged pattern of exploitation and the severe power imbalance between Kachura and his vulnerable teenage patient. They argue that Kachura manipulated the patient's condition, exploiting her impaired judgment and inability to consent to repeated sexual offenses, which ultimately contributed to her death.
