Villagers Open Fire Over Land Dispute, Family Injured

A dispute over panchayat land in Bisar Akbarpur village, Nuh district, escalated violently, resulting in grievous injuries to eight family members. The victims were allegedly attacked with firearms, sticks, and knives by a group of villagers. The incident occurred early Tuesday morning when the family was collecting firewood from the land they had used for decades.

According to the complaint, the attackers arrived armed and immediately began assaulting the family members. Several individuals sustained critical injuries, including a gunshot wound. The altercation involved multiple rounds of firing and a brutal assault with blunt weapons. The injured were rushed to a local hospital and subsequently referred for further treatment due to the severity of their wounds.

Police have registered a case against ten identified individuals under various sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and the Arms Act. The incident has sparked outrage, and a video of the assault has circulated widely. Authorities are investigating the matter to ensure justice for the victims and prevent further escalation.
