Summary

- Up to $150,000 is offered for information leading to an arrest in the case.

A significant 2024 double homicide has now been included in Nova Scotia's program offering rewards for major unsolved crimes. Police were alerted on November 9, 2024, to an abandoned and burned vehicle discovered on MacLean Road in Greenhill. Upon investigation, two bodies were found within the vehicle. These individuals were later identified in December 2024 as Keleana Trask, aged 32, from Truro, and Tyler Meagher, aged 34, from Grand Prairie, Alberta.
Investigators have determined that the fire was deliberately set, and crucially, that both Trask and Meagher had already died prior to the ignition. To encourage public assistance, a reward of up to $150,000 is now available for information that leads to an arrest. Attorney General and Justice Minister Scott Armstrong emphasized the importance of public cooperation in bringing justice to the victims' families.
