- 21 of the women were attacked or killed in their homes.

Since 2020, a staggering 30 women have been violently killed in Northern Ireland. These victims, who were daughters, mothers, sisters, and friends, were predominantly killed by men, often those known to them. A significant number of these attacks, at least 21, occurred within the women's own homes.
The youngest victim was 20-year-old Patrycja Wryebek, while the oldest was 82-year-old Elizabeth Dobbin. Sadly, 21 of the women were mothers, with some being pregnant at the time of their deaths. In four instances, children were present during the attacks. The perpetrators included husbands, partners, ex-partners, brothers, sons, a friend, and a grandson.
The legal processes for these cases are ongoing. Many accused or convicted of the killings were intimately familiar with the victims, raising serious concerns about domestic violence and intimate partner homicide. These women's lives, though tragically cut short, are remembered by their grieving families.
