Teen's Death: Family Demands Answers Beyond Drowning

Renowned civil rights attorney Ben Crump will reveal the preliminary findings of this autopsy on Wednesday morning. The official autopsy from Mississippi's State Medical Examiner's office remains pending. Sheriff John Ledbetter stated the investigation is ongoing and expressed the department's welcome for the family's independent review, emphasizing diligence in determining the exact circumstances.

Wells was last seen on Horn Island after friends departed during the July 4 outing. The sheriff's office has acknowledged no initial indication of a crime.
