A man has been arrested in Noida for allegedly murdering his father after a heated dispute concerning unpaid car loan installments. The victim, Rakesh Kumar, a mixer truck driver from Sector 135, was discovered deceased with significant head trauma on March 1. His son, Satendra Kumar, is accused of using a tractor trolley connecting pin in the fatal assault.
The conflict reportedly stemmed from Satendra's failure to make the car's monthly payments for two months. This led to frequent arguments between father and son. The situation escalated when the victim's wife and other children departed for their ancestral village, leaving Rakesh and Satendra alone.
Following the discovery of the body by Rakesh's contractor, police initiated an investigation. Initial inquiries revealed the recent quarrel between Rakesh and Satendra. After initially providing a false alibi, Satendra was interrogated and allegedly confessed to the crime. The murder weapon was recovered from his possession.
