- The gang used specialized tools to break locks quickly.

Noida police successfully dismantled a two-wheeler theft syndicate on Wednesday, apprehending three accused individuals. The operation led to the recovery of nine stolen motorcycles and numerous vehicle parts. The arrested suspects have been identified as the gang leader, Phool Singh alias Monu, and his associates Rajendra alias Chhote and Rajpal alias Bhola.
According to DCP Yamuna Prasad, multiple theft complaints prompted the formation of a special police team. Acting on a tip-off, the team intercepted the gang as they prepared to commit another theft. Interrogation revealed the gang's modus operandi: daytime reconnaissance to identify targets, followed by rapid lock-breaking using specialized tools, and swift escapes.
The syndicate had established links with scrap dealers in Delhi, where the stolen motorcycles were dismantled and sold as parts. Monu reportedly received a 40% share of the illicit earnings. The police are diligently verifying criminal records and working to identify and contact the rightful owners of the recovered vehicles, many of which were stolen from different police station jurisdictions within Noida.
