A man in Kearny, New Jersey, has been arrested and charged with murder and aggravated arson following a weekend incident. The suspect, identified as 44-year-old Oscar Feijoo, is accused of fatally striking Pablo Criollo, 45, with an arrow.
Upon arriving at the scene on Saturday evening, police discovered the victim injured. Criollo was transported to a local hospital but was pronounced dead shortly thereafter. Authorities later identified Feijoo as a person of interest in the attack.
When a SWAT team approached Feijoo's residence on Sunday, he reportedly barricaded himself inside and started multiple fires. After a standoff, Feijoo emerged from the burning home armed with knives and was taken into custody. Additional charges are expected.
