Authorities announced on Wednesday, January 1st, that 72-year-old Stephen Iannotti, a former math teacher and football coach from New Jersey, has been found deceased. His family last had contact with him on the evening of Thursday, December 25th, and he was reported missing three days later on Sunday, December 28th. This discovery brings a tragic end to the search initiated by the Logan Township Police Department and Gloucester County Emergency Management.
Investigators determined that Iannotti's black Jeep Wrangler departed his residence on Friday, December 26th, around 12:45 p.m. His license plate was later sighted in Logan Township. Despite the vehicle's movements, his cell phone was found at his home, and family members indicated he often left without it. Financial records showed no activity on his credit or debit cards since before Christmas.
