Dogs Found Dead at Kennels, Police Investigate

Police officers made a grim discovery of nine deceased dogs at a boarding kennels in Shifnal, Shropshire. The visit to Hatton Boarding Kennels occurred on Thursday, following concerns raised about animal welfare on the previous day. Upon gaining entry, authorities found the bodies of the dogs.
In addition to the deceased animals, three live cats were present at the kennels. These cats have since been transferred to the care of an animal charity. The bodies of the dogs were taken to a veterinary surgery for examination.
West Mercia Police stated that while there is no further police action at this time, the RSPCA has been notified of the situation. Efforts to contact the boarding kennels for comment have been made.
